As our fellowship grows here at Generations, do you find it hard to develop close, genuine relationships? God exhorts us in His Word on the importance of fellowship with one another as we walk with Him. 1 John 1:7 says, But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
Along with fellowship, God wants us growing closer to Him by studying His Word. Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15. God also encourages us to pray without ceasing. 2 Thessalonians 5:17
Through Home Fellowships we can all experience the blessings of close fellowship as we grow closer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through Bible Study and Prayer.
What is a Home Fellowship? A Home Fellowship is a small group of people who get together on a regular basis, in someone's home with the purpose of being built up and equipped as they grow in their relationship with Jesus and others in the group. It is important that we each have close fellowship with a small group we can learn with, share with, and grow in the Lord with. Proverbs 27:17 says, As Iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.
Along with prayer, bible study, and fellowship most groups include a time of worship. What a powerful time it is when we come together and worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. Psalm 29:2
In John 13:34 we are told to love one another. Those who regularly attend a Home Fellowship soon find their hearts encouraged and knit together in love as they grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We'd like to encourage you to get involved in a Home Fellowship near you and develop that close, genuine relationship with Jesus and others, that the Lord has waiting for you.
