Description: Today Pastor Ryan brings to life a reality check for each of us. Are you in a place in your life where you are ready to ring the bell as a symbol of giving up? In training to become a Navy Seal, the ultimate symbol of failure is the large brass bell which hangs menacingly in the center of the training area. If at anytime during training a student feels they have had enough, the bell hangs ready for them to "ring out" and all the pain and discomfort will end. In our spiritual lives, the enemy always stands ready with the bell tempting us to "ring out" on whatever in life is too difficult. The Apostle Paul reminds us to run the race to the end, never give up. It is important that we allow the Holy Spirit to transform our minds because if we get to a point where quitting is an option, the option will always be to quit. Consider our example Jesus, He chose victory through obedience, thus smashing the bell for all eternity. What will you choose today?

In Colossians 3 the word mentions a few areas: compassion, being concerned for others; kindness, usefulness for God; humility, choosing not to accelerate yourself; gentleness, strength in submission; patience, as anyone can get angry and forgiveness just to mention a few of them we will touch on today. Remember the strongest Gospel message comes from you living the Word not from you preaching the Word!
