Discipleship - The Master's Commission
"And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you..."   Matthew 28:18-20

It has been said "Give a man a fish you will feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you will feed him for a lifetime."  Jesus has charged us as followers to make disciples of all nations. This involves much more than leading people in a sinner's prayer, shaking their hand, then sending them on their merry way.

Not everyone who is saved is a disciple, but every disciple is saved. In like fashion, we must take up this mantle of responsibility to make disciples or as Jesus said, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men."

I am reminded of the story of Lazarus found in John chapter 11. After Jesus performs the miraculous in bringing Lazarus back from the dead after 4 days in the tomb, he says something very important:  "When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!" The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, "Take off the grave clothes and let him go."

While this clearly demonstrates God's role in bringing people out of darkness into His marvelous light, it also show us our responsibility to remove the grave clothes (old habits, worldliness) from the newly formed Christian.

In response to this deep need in the church today, and in our own community, we have put into place a series of intense, college-level discipleship courses to be offered on a continuous basis. We have been approved by Global University to serve as an extension campus for their Center for Evangelism and Discipleship. We will be offering courses on Christian life and service in a wide variety of topics. Some of these include:
  • Prayer and Worship
  • The Bible
  • Evangelism
  • Theology
  • The Church
  • Spiritual Gifts
If you are interested in any of these courses or more information on their content go to http://www.globaluniversity.edu/ministry_resources/level3/ced/ChristianService.cfm. Please contact the church or see any staff member to find out about getting signed up for the next class!
King's Kids Children's Ministry

The Children's Ministry of Generations Church exists to teach children about Jesus Christ and help them come to a saving knowledge of Him, to help them grow in their personal relationship with Christ, and to minister to families of these children.

We believe children are very important to God.  We are dedicated to providing a ministry of excellence for them as well as their families.  It is a privilege to work with these children.

It is our desire to communicate the love of God to them by:
  • providing a safe and accepting environment where your child feels loved and valued.
  • providing caring, quality teachers whose lives model the lessons they teach.
  • reaching out to children in God's love, teaching them God's truths, and helping them come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
  • helping children gain a Christian perspective as they work through issues they face at home, at school, and with friends.
Sunday Morning Kid's Church

Your kids will sing…shout…celebrate God’s goodness and mighty works…revel in God’s unconditional love with "King's Kid's: Children’s Church!"

Children focus on God in their own way—and experience worship through fun songs and memorable Bible learning.

Each week the goal of the worship service is to help kids understand God with their minds, worship with their hearts, praise with their actions and live their lives for God throughout the week.

During our Sunday morning service, our youngsters,  from kindergarden, all the way up to middle school are involved in Kid's Own Worship. The older youth help with song motions and assist the younger kids as the children all work together to learn more about God and the Bible. From songs to crafts to videos to snacks, our kids have a wonderful time!

Contemporary Praise Music - Worship songs that kids love and that tie in with worship themes include the best of contemporary Christian music as well as traditional hymns of the faith. Worship music is led in a variety of interactive (note the word active) ways. Words and concepts of songs are explained in language kids understand.

Kids Own Worship Video - A collection of short video segments explain a character trait of God's, illustrate a Scripture passage, or help kids worship through prayer or music. Videos are followed by lively discussions led by team members each week. Faithweaver video segments are a powerful way to get kids hinking about God.

Worship Team - Members take turns leading worship activities, helping kids participate, and teaching kids to worship appropriately.

Worship and Application Activities - Fun, attention-grabbing activities including experiments, object lessons, role-play, challenges and games are designed to add a "wow" factor to worship time and reinforce the key point in ways kids can understand and remember.

Prayer Time - Prayer is emphasized in Kids Own Worship, and each service includes time for children to pray aloud together in an echo prayer or silently.

Bible Lessons - Presented in a variety of styles including Bible story readings, story telling, video segments, and dramatizations. Lessons always include interactive discussion time.

LEADING PEOPLE INTO A LIFESTYLE OF WORSHIP!

Welcome to the Generations Music Ministries! This site has been designed as a resource for anyone seeking information about our worship ministries. As you look through this site, you will discover that there are many opportunities for involvement.

The purpose of the worship ministries at Generations is to lead the people of this church into a lifestyle of worship. We want to see people worship the Lord, not only on Sundays, but through the life that they lead the rest of the week. We want to create an atmosphere in every service that will draw people into the presence of the Lord, and allow Him to minister to their needs through His presence in their lives. Everything we do centers around that!

If you would like to become an active part of the music ministry, in any way, please feel free to contact us at any time! WE would love to get to know you and connect you to a ministry where you can be effective in building His kingdom!
Women's Ministry
Generations Women's Ministry is an exciting place for women of all ages to grow in Christ and offers wonderful opportunities for the women in our congregation to serve and glorify God in many ways. We encourage each woman to share her talents with others for the kingdom of God.

Through service to God and each other, friendships will be developed, talents will be multiplied, and ultimately our relationship with God will be strengthened. This ministry offers support, prayer partners, fellowship and accountability. We were never meant to walk alone in this life.

The Women's Ministry at Generations exists to minister to all women the life-changing message of Jesus Christ .

Currently, we are meeting at 7:00 pm on Wednesday at the church in the conference room for bible study. We are going through a study on Titus 2 regarding the older women mentoring the younger women. Come out and join us!
Men's Ministry
"As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend."  [Proverbs 27:17]

The Men's Ministry exists to enable the men of Generations to connect, serve, and reach out to the others. We provide social, outreach, discipleship, and service opportunities to meet the needs of this group as appropriate with the mission of Generations.

Our aim is to provide a welcoming atmosphere for men to bring their non-Christian friends as well as provide opportunities for discipleship and spiritual growth for believers. We also encourage men to get involved in Small Groups to build relationships, pray for and be accountable to one another.

Once a quarter, our Men's Ministry members get together for a men's breakfast and fellowship event. They are a group of men that have found how important accountability is to be the men God wants them to be for their family. The men's ministry is also actively involved in our church's Compassion Ministry, whether it's putting a roof on someone's house or extending a hand to help move to a new house.

We are currently meeting on Wednesday nights at 7pm at the home of Bob Waysack in Murrieta. We will be going through John Bevere's "Driven By Eternity." If you are interested please contact Bob at 951.440.5991.
Military Ministry
"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust."  Psalm 91:1-2

STARR WILLIAMS - Generations Church would like to introduce our new Military Ministry director, Starr Williams. Starr comes to Generations with a wealth of first-hand knowledge about the pain, hurt, and difficulty that military families experience because of the horrors of combat. Starr's oldest son Christopher was wounded in action on June 23, 2006 while conducting convoy operations near Baghdad Iraq. The vehicle he was in was hit by an Improvised Explosive Device or IED. Two of his fellow soldiers died in the attack and there was one other soldier wounded besides Chris. Chris's wounds were nearly life-ending as he died several times enroute to the United States from Iraq requiring resuscitation by doctors. To this day Chris struggles with his injuries and Starr and her husband Doug have seen first hand the pain that families endure of those who defend our freedom. With her experiences with the military medical and administrative system, she can offer much needed assistance to families as well as the more important aspect of their recovery - the love of Jesus Christ! If you have questions regarding our military ministry, please contact Starr at 951-805-4655 or on her email at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Generations' Military Ministry-  is here to support those who are fighting for our freedom to worship the Lord Jesus Christ! Our men and women in uniform are sacrificing their lives on foreign battlefields to preserve our way of life. The cost is high but the reward can't be measured in human terms.  "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends." John 15:13

Battlefield Ministries-  is the non-profit organization that partners with  Generations Church to provide bibles, books, Shields of Strength dog tags, comfort items from home, and assistance to military families who have had a loved one  wounded or killed in the line of duty. God has placed a burden on our heart to get a bible, copy of Reflections from the Battlefield, and a Shield of Strength dog tag to every Marine, Sailor, Soldier, Airmen, Coast Guard, and civilian warrior on the front lines. To date we have sent over 3000 copies of Reflections, 1000 bibles, and hundreds of Shields. The response has been overwhelming with revival breaking out in many parts of Iraq. There are over 140,000 troops on the battlefield so there is much more work to be done to achieve this goal.

Reflections from the Battlefield-  The book inspired by Ryan's 3 combat  tours and countless life experiences that initially took the form of weekly emails sent home to Generations and family members, but later reaching some 20,000 people through the world wide prayer chain developed by Phil Presley. The resulting collection of "Reflections" and experiences were published by Blest Press and released September 11th, 2005. God has been using Reflections from the Battlefield to encourage and bring hope to countless battle-weary troops and comfort and peace to families left behind. To date, more than 3000 copies of Reflections have been sent to the front lines at no cost to military personnel. If you or your church are interested in this ministry opportunity please contact Pastor Ryan at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or go to www.blestpress.com.
